1 Juni 2021 Kawasaki unveils 2022 Junior Off-Roaders

As creators of the all-inclusive “Team Green” ethos, Kawasaki is determined to “start ‘em green and keep ‘em green”. It is fitting then that in the entry or junior level there are two lime green off-roaders for the 2022 season in the form of the hardy four-stroke KLX110R and the iconic KX65, a bike that kick started the careers of many of today’s MXGP winners.

The KLX110R is an ideal intro to powered two wheels featuring all the basic controls that are familiar to all off-road riders such as twist grip throttle and conventional brakes plus the learner friendly convenience of electric and kick start, a four speed semi-automatic gearbox and adjustable throttle stop so that learning machine skills progresses at a controlled, predictable rate.

Built for a lifetime of service, and designed to be “leaner proof”, the rugged and reliable KLX110 features smart new graphics on its lime green panels for 2022. With a highly praised 112cm3 engine at its core and a 68cm seat height thanks to a steel backbone chassis mated to conventional front forks and mono-shock rear, “access all areas” is guaranteed while junior riders push open the door to a lifetime of off-road thrills.

As a logical next step for a legion of riders, true competition beckons and Kawasaki has that base covered with the KX65, a machine with a justified place in the hearts of generations of motocross riders. Keeping to a well tried and trusted formula for 2022, the water-cooled, two-stroke single cylinder engine not only delivers race winning performance, but does it race after race, weekend after weekend thanks to Kawasaki’s legendary KX build quality and durable design approach.

Built in Kawasaki’s world-famous Akashi plant near Kobe in Japan, the 2022 KX65 comes equipped with a no-nonsense tubular chassis mated to con
ventional front forks and Uni-Trak swinging arm rear suspension. Along with the carburettor fed 64cm3 motor both engine and chassis are built to last and fall well within the maintenance abilities of the track side mechanic.

Winner of countless junior cups and Championships, the KX65 has a new stand-out graphics package for 2022 but, at its core, the story of previous seasons is repeated, “get on, gas up and go for the podium”.
