Kawasaki's officiella nyhetsbrev

3 Augusti 2021 Z900RS success story accelerates into 2022

Kawasaki’s acclaimed Z900RS has quickly become one of the go-to naked machines in the booming European retro sport market; and with good reason.

The subtle mix of heritage looks and modern technology strikes a chord with both those that remember and dream to own an iconic 1972 Z1 Super Four, plus newer fans that simply adore the timeless seductive looks of this modern classic.

Equipped with a retuned version of the 948Cm3 engine fitted to the successful Z900 Supernaked, the RS is focused on low and middle range silky pulling power with an additional rush of typical Kawasaki urge in the upper revs.

Featuring a garage full of contemporary engineering and technology such as all LED lighting, radial mount brakes, horizontal back link suspension and 41mm inverted front forks, the trellis chassis equipped machine displays exemplary handling characteristics as well as a relaxed riding position thanks to carefully considered ergonomics and two seat height options.

With dual mode KTRC traction control and an assist and slipper clutch, the Z900RS is the ideal machine for not just time-served enthusiasts but also those migrating up the capacity ladder.

Featuring Kawasaki’s first “tuned” exhaust note, the Z900RS encompasses over twenty easy to identify and more subtle cues in praise of the iconic Z1. The teardrop fuel tank is an obvious win; and, for 2022, one of the finish options reflects a revered paint scheme available in period for the 1974 Z1B keeping the spirit of the Z1 line alive in the modern era.

Z900RS, retro sport never felt so contemporary.

Colour options for 2022 will be:
  • Metallic Diablo Black
  • Metallic Dark Green
  • Candy Tone Blue
